Significant Planetary Activity for the Week Ahead

Jupiter goes into retrograde motion on Wednesday bringing with it a period for about 4 -5 months when you may feel as if you are being blocked from moving forwards in your life somewhat. My feeling is however that this is a necessary safety valve in order that you don't make any wrong decisions about your future during this period of time. With Mars moving into Scorpio on Monday you need to be focusing your energies more, concentrate on being determined to achieve what you want to achieve.

With things having lightened up now a little after the power and intensity of last week's full moon we should find ourselves in for a better time this week! Planetary activity is pretty quite so a time to consolidate and take some time out.

The sun moves into Sagittarius on Saturday so if things have been a little intense of late then hopefully they will begin to lighten up for you. And the Christmas spirit may begin to activate early this year! Mercury also moves into Sagittarius on Wednesday so, in its transition period, beware of putting your foot in things by opening your mouth before you engage brain! The moon is full in Taurus on Wednesday also .. a time to consolidate and think about what you want from your life.

Uranus moves out of retrograde motion today which means that if you've been feeling a little stalled in life recently you should now begin to see a shift in things. This is also a good sign with the moon beginning a new phase on Monday. Now is a good time to start putting some plans into action

Mercury moves into Scorpio on Friday bringing with it the opportunity to thrash a few long-standing issues out. A need to get to the bottom of things in certain aspects of your life.

The Sun moves into Scorpio on Thursday bringing an element of intensity to things. Perhaps a need to get to the bottom of things this week. This is coupled by a full moon in Aries on Monday which is suggesting the beginning of a new phase. Neptune is moving out of retrograde where it has been since May, so a possibility of seeing some of your dreams come into fruition over the next few weeks.

With last weeks activity this week should be a little quieter thank goodness! The only significant event is Mars moving into Libra on Wednesday which should help to have a balancing out effect on the turmoil that might have been created from last weeks activity.

With Mercury now out of retrograde motion we can look forward to a bit of progress in our lives on the mental level. Mercury also moves into Libra on Saturday which will bring a harmonious influence on our thoughts and mental interactions with others. However, Venus is now moving into retrograde on Thursday ... which suggests some intensity of feelings being around ... watch out for possible love affairs which could bring much enjoyment (!) ... or the antithesis, which is relationships that have been in negative denial suddenly exploding, fuelled by the energy of pent-up emotions that should have been dealt with a long time ago. The next five week period could well prove to mark the beginning of the break-down of a relationship that is in negative denial. On Friday Saturn also moves into retrograde motion ... Saturn is causing a hard time of it for us of late in making us question the whole structure of our lives ... it is currently in Gemini, making us indecisive about what we really want both for now and the longer term future ... and forcing us to make choices. The retrograde motion, which will last now until the middle of February, will be another time of forcing us to really decide what we want from our lives and making any negative situations so unbearable for us that we will be forced into applying ourselves to dealing with them ... the good news from this is that by June of next year, when Saturn moves into cancer, we should be feeling much happier about our surroundings, particularly our home-life and our relationships, having had the courage to address any outstanding issues.
So, as you can see, quite an eventful week on the planetary front!

Mercury thankfully moves out of retrograde on Saturday meaning that at last we can start thinking straight again! Look out for that long, lost letter also!

The sun moves into Libra on Tuesday, bringing with it a certain amount of calm and having a balancing a effect on our lives. Time to enjoy yourself.

With Mercury still in retrograde communication is still posing a challenge. Your words could be mistaken or misunderstood this week. Next Saturday sees a full moon in Pisces ... be prepared for romantic liaisons ... and if you see a star, wish upon it ... you just never know!

Mercury goes retrograde in Libra on Saturday ... causing possible problems with communication with loved ones in particular ... and communication delays and problems all round for a short spell (about 3 weeks). Venus moves into Scorpio on Monday causing bouts of intense feelings for a while, you might find it hard to keep your feelings to yourself at times! Also a time to savour the beauty of your life ... look around you and feel grateful for the small things in your life.

There is a new moon in Scorpio on Saturday ... the germination of some emotional issues ... which I feel will turn out to be positive. These will come into fruition within the next five weeks.

Mercury moves into Libra on Tuesday, this would suggest sitting on the fence a little this week in terms of voicing your opinion or making decisions ( advice supported by this week's Tarot card!). Mars is moving into Virgo on Friday suggesting a need to conserve your energies and to use them wisely and with perhaps more focus than you have maybe done of late. Pluto moves out of retrograde today which means that you will once again feel as if you are progressing ... have you felt a little like you've been sitting on a train that has stopped at a station, and another passing through makes you feel as if you are actually going backwards! Well now your train will start to move again, slowly does it, allow it to gather its own speed!

A week to get your head around happenings in your life (this seems to have been a theme of late!). You are likely to be entering a period of quiet contemplation and reflection of what's going on in your life. Take things calmly and sensibly.

Mercury is moving into Virgo on Wednesday - time to organize your thoughts - to get your head around things. Perhaps also to think about beginning to get your things together for your new studies in September (check out the recommended reading page and the link for the tarot cards you will need if you are studying Tarot next year. On Thursday Venus moves into Libra which I feel will bring about a settling of any relationship issues you might have been experiencing lately. Things will naturally resolve themselves.

The sun moves into Leo on Wednesday so time to come out of your shell and to make your presence felt and known. On the same day the moon is full in Aquarius. This is a week for putting your own needs first ... don't give in to any attempts at emotional blackmail that tries to undermine what you want for yourself.

This is a good time to commence any outstanding projects especially of the creative type - although the tarot card of the week suggests that it may be best to keep the ideas in your head this week rather than actually put them into action. Mars will be in this position for a while yet ... so there is no hurry. there could be some dramatic turnabouts happening in your life over the next few weeks - but they should prove to be productive.
